Interactions Appoints New General Counsel

FRANKLIN, MA – (February 14, 2017) – Interactions, LLC, a leading provider of Intelligent Virtual Assistants (IVAs) for enterprise customer care, today announced John Milton has joined the company as General Counsel. Milton comes to Interactions with more than 25 years experience advising high growth technology ventures.

Technology Industry Veteran John Milton joins Interactions Executive Team

FRANKLIN, MA – (February 14, 2017) – Interactions, LLC, a leading provider of Intelligent Virtual Assistants (IVAs) for enterprise customer care, today announced John Milton has joined the company as General Counsel. Milton comes to Interactions with more than 25 years experience advising high growth technology ventures.

Milton will lead legal affairs for Interactions, focusing on the company’s domestic and international growth, and managing its impressive war chest of intellectual property, in addition to compliance, contracts and transactions.

“John will play an important role in the Interactions team as we continue to grow in North America and abroad,” said Mike Iacobucci, CEO, Interactions. “He brings years of experience working with technology companies at a similar stage. Having an experienced General Counsel will be a tremendous asset as we continue to forge new strategic relationships and expand our position in the market. Milton has an extensive background in leading technology companies through growth stages. Most recently, he served as General Counsel for Imprivata, a healthcare  IT security company. At Imprivata, he oversaw the company’s  successful initial public offering in 2014 and the acquisition of the company by a private equity firm in 2016. Prior to Imprivata, he led the legal team at EqualLogic, which was acquired by Dell in 2008. He also has extensive experience in Europe and other international markets, especially around data security and privacy. This will be critical for Interactions as it continues to expand abroad.
