Gonzalez to spearhead company growth amid rising demand for impactful AI-powered customer experiences
Franklin, Mass. — May 11, 2022 — Interactions, one of the world’s largest standalone artificial intelligence (AI) companies, today announced that Daren Gonzalez has joined the company as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Gonzalez brings more than 15 years of sales, business development and leadership experience from companies like Avaya, Arise Virtual Solutions, Internap, Verizon and AT&T to the role.
Gonzalez joins Interactions amidst a rapidly growing market for AI-powered contact center solutions. In his new role as CSO, he will spearhead Interactions’ go-to-market strategy and business growth, overseeing all aspects of sales, sales team development and the creation and scaling of new strategic partnerships.

Gonzalez brings a track record of business transformation and significant revenue growth across large, mid-size and private equity-backed companies to Interactions’ leadership team. Previously, he was Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Avaya, a leader in cloud communications and workstream collaboration solutions. There, he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a cloud, subscription and software services market leader. Before that, he was Chief Revenue Officer at Arise Virtual Solutions, where he was responsible for all go-to-market functions—including global sales, marketing, channel partnerships and solution architecture.

Gonzalez holds a BA in political science from the University of California at Irvine. He also holds a JD from Loyola Law School, and has been a member of the California State Bar since 1999. He joins the Interactions team remotely from southern California.
